Candle Balance Dance
Belly dance is a Western-coined name for a traditional Middle Eastern dance, especially raqs sharqi (Arabic: رقص شرقي). It is sometimes also called Middle Eastern dance or Arabic dance in the West, or by the Greco-Turkish term çiftetelli (Greek: τσιφτετέλι).
The term "Belly dance" is a misnomer as all parts of the body are involved in the dance; the most featured body part in raqs sharqi being the hips. Belly dance takes many different forms depending on country and region, both in costume and dance style;; and new styles have been invented in the West as its popularity has spread globally. -

Cairo Cafe – The Mirage of Knoxville is a spectacular dining and entertainment establishment, a grand salon of opulence and intrigue named after and inspired by the culture of the “city of a thousand minarets”.This dynamic, multi-area venue is unique to Knoxville and the Southeast featuring exquisite decor and items from Egypt, Lebanon, and Morocco throughout the restaurant, main dining room and private Hookah areas.Upon Entering the Mirage, guests are greeted by a lively bar and lounge area with mosaic tiles, crystal chandeliers and sculptures from the Mediterranean, east to west.
Throughout the venue, guests can immerse themselves in another world, seated in ornate wooden chairs, plush settees, and soft pillows all surrounded by stone accents, oriental rugs and the overall decor befitting of royalty.
Lunch Hours: Tuesday-Friday 11am to 2pm
Dinner Hours: Tuesday-Friday 5pm to Close, Weekends til Late
